Good job, son. i have no doubt in mind that u have a potential to be a productive member in our society.being poor or rich don’t constitue either good or bad,it is merely the condition of economic status.i am impressed by his mother optemistic view of life. she has also made valuable remark that “mental poverty is far more bad than economic misfortune” each of us should pay attention to it. i wish you good luck in ur future. BRAVO!!!
This is a mother need to be helped, Elias i know you can do it, find the contact please. it reminds me how i grew up. i realy want to help the mom. thanx.
I also grew up in a low income single parent family. My mom raised me up, with all kindness and unforgettable love. She is my roll model. Wherever I go, whom ever I meet the first thing I would do is introduce my hero, my mom before I introduce my self. All my success is because of her. I thank God for keeping her alive, and giving me a chance to reward her to some extent. How many of you are raised by single mom? Did you reward her when you became successful in life or forgot her?
I watched this video before and couldn’t understand the story. Can any body tell me if you have a backup information because what is in the video doesn’t tell anything? Has he joined university at 10 or what is the inspiring story?
Well I didnt get the point!!Ofcourse the kid can be intelligent, but now almost everybody in Ethiopia with a very inspiring potential live in the worst condition. He is lucky to get this opportunity!
He has adjusted himself with nature,a lucky boy.He will help many others then.He is already known to the public through some means.I have seen it before,He has got enough support from a number of people.Getting in to the media is a luck by itself.By then this boy will be teaching other kids in KGs.
LOOK:There are other very intelligent kids who didn’t get the chance to be interviewed but living in the street of Addis, and there are also others helping their poor parents but unable to push forward in their academic career due tothe reason being very poor and helpless. One really should help those kids.
debisa…
listen to it again and again until it makes sense to you.if u are lacked language skill ,then ask someone to interpret it. in my part, this is not rocket science to understand. atleast for me ,by far the most stricking thing is the love between mother and son under extrem economic condition.
God bless Ethiopia. i would like to help both of them .please Elias try to get the address. It is a very nice program.I love it. May god be with you!!!!
I like to thank you alot to bring us stories like this. I was so touched i couldn’t stop crying.
Most of us passed through that life. We are doing better now. thanks to our parents who gave us education. Now we are in a position to help others who try to overcome that cycle of poverity
When i go home the next few months, I will try my best to find this boy and his mum, finger cross. I want to help. If i succeed, i will let you know their address (for your reders).
I cannot understand why some people cannot appreciate the fact that be it by luck or being on the right spot was brought to the limelight. I am sure there are bunch kids somewhere, who are as bright as he is. For what ever reason it is, we did not hear about them. As one of the poster stated, it is not rocket science and relax and appreciate it for what ever worth it is.
Notwithstand the above, thank you very much to give us such an inspiring and touching story, in a time when everything we hear and read about Ethiopia is depressing and sad. I was moved to tears the way Nebeu described his love and appreciation he has for his mother. I pray and hope he will have a bright future and turn his dreams come true, provided that he will not loss his life by a government that does not have appreciation for education and smart people, unless they are their very own.
