Danish promoter Robert Larsen informed fightnews today that he has just moments ago signed a contract for two “Scandinavians” (with African roots) to battle it out for the African title at either super featherweight or lightweight in Gilleleje, Denmark on November 24th. The two are Swedish-based Ethiopian Samuel Kebede (25-2, 14 KOs) and Danish-based Nigerian Robert Osiobe (8-2-4, 4 KOs). The bout will be televised in Denmark by DK4. Osiobe is coming off two straight wins while Kebede is coming off a tough second round TKO defeat at the hands of Cuban Olympic gold medalist Yuriorkis Gamboa in late October. Promoter Larsen will in addition have three more professional fights and a bunch of good looking amateur fights on the program.
