    The sheer idea of giving an audience to an R& B singer is in bad taste,let alone to organize a special mass in her honour. What a pity and a shame?

    May Lucifer deal with him and the weyanes in general for bringing our religion and country so low.

Why do you think he pray for all of us reagardless of who we are, and what we are doing but, not for Beyonce who is travelling a million miles to our land ? Beyonce is one of us; a women who represents all and, I simply say WHY NOT…?

    Beyonce travelled to ethiopia for a business — $1 million dollar! she didn’t go there to visit or to do humanitarian purposes. Second, the papas is a public figure, what ever he does and say affects the church’s identity. He has to respect our church’s norms and protect the moral of the followers. The papas can pray for Beyonce if he want to who cares but i hate to see him giving such a reception to a singer as if she was a spiritual leader. Menewu, is the word respect erased from our dictionary now a days? My church is my country for me and hate seeing her humiliated and disgraced by this no class duryes.

    i am glad that Beyonce visted Ethiopia and it shows me that she respect us as a people. Also, some how i am glad that she get to see our religous cermonies and invited by the church so that she will testify what kind ppl we are. But i am not not that happy that the pop seated beside her to show respect for a singer who praise the world rather than God in her song. I am not saying she is bad, but religon needs to be separate from music. However, we dont need to feel very offense by the pop since we all call ourselves Ortodox and never do what the lord or the bible says. We love beyonce and listen to her songs so who are we and who allowed us to blame the pop before we blame ourselfes for not been a true christian. WE all have our own sins to punish for so leave the punishment for God whatever the pop is doing.

  13. it is all part of brainwashing the masses(people). first the president greets her like the is an angel from heaven(Question,Is the president even suppose to do that?) and to make things even worse, the pope endorses a singer who views and belief are completely contrary to the preaching of the Ethiopian orthdox chruch and the ethiopian culture as a whole. Don’t you see this as a part of a bigger scheme? What is it that they are trying to sell us? why all this rush to corrupt society? last but not least, what is a 21 first century singer who has come from an affluent country that idealizes itself in dominance in every aspect of human endenvor doing in a 20th century ethiopia who has becoome to be known for its poverty war and other adversities? brining an american singer doesn’t change that. why can’t we be ourselves and have pride over our own culture and custom. why try to emulate something that corrupts society and lead it in a wrong direction? at last, i want to say that this is just not about beyonce. it is a greater scheme directed at the Ethiopian people. What does to endorse someone else’s culture say about our own culture? Think hard people, you should be able to figure this out. They are simply just playing with our mind cause they are in power and have the tools like the dumb president and Pope to make us think the way they want us to. this is a direct hit aimed at all of us and we should fight it with every means. we shall all say, WE HAVE PRIDE IN OUR ETHIOPIANESS!!!!!!!!!
