  6. I am still crying, everyday I read the news about them. My deep condolences to those families who lost their lovely ones. Specially their kids!!! Oh My God. I have no words about this! WE MISS YOU ALL FOREVER! RIP OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS ALL!

Habtish, I will cherish the good times we had at AAU’s Science Faculty, Chemistry Dept. and thereafter in Dire Dawa and Addis. I will never forget your smiling face and enviable characters. Rest In Peace Habtish and my heartfelt condolences to your family and the families of the victims of the accident.

    We do not know why accidents such this happen. The other most recent catastrope was what happened in Haiti.
    As far as I know, there is no explanation why so many people are condemned to die, while in some cases a few lucky ones survive.
    As it can not be explanined though, it is better to focus on what we can understand…that is….
    – Try to live every day and hour thinking that could be the last
    – Try to live life to your best
    – Try to get God’s mercy and guidance through prayer and confession
    – Expect things could happen but that should not stop you from living life.
    – All the time, be thankful to God that you are still alive to see the next hr and day.
    – Leave the rest to the LORD.

    May the souls of the victims in EAL R.I.P. and ‘mestnanatin’ for their families.

  21. Heartbreaking!! They were too young to die. I can’t even imagine what their families going through. We need to pray for them the time to go fast and the healing to begin.May God bless your soul.

  34. It is sad to us all to learn that the lives of these young people cut so short and sudden. Many of them have young children and it is unbearable for the kids to be raised without a mother. May their soul be in heaven. And may the lives of those kids will cherish as that of their parents perish.

  36. My name is Kidane Yeshitila, a former Ethiopian diplomat in Dubai, currently residing in USA. I am very saddened by the loss of 90 passengers in Beirut. Among the victims is my cousin Seble Gebrestadik, who was working for the Ethiopian Airlines as a flight attendant. I have been sitting alone far from my country and crying. I would like to know the cause of the accident not only for me, but for all of our family and the families of all the victims. Please follow up and let us know the cause. I cannot find word to express how sad I am.

    Dear my uncle Gebre, Seble’s kindness lives with us for ever. I thank friends and family member all over the world who share our profoundest grief by phone and physically coming to us. My God rest in peace all the departed in this plane crash.

I have lost my good friend Seble Seyoum (The Lead Attendant) of this flight I have no word to discrbe my feelings about this tragedy as we were together in London having dinner on 13/12/09 I couldn’t accept the news. I don’t know what to say to her great husband (Jovannie). All I can say at the moment is my heart goes out to her family especially her lovely children Geta Kenante Yehun! She will always be remembered. Yehlunem Nefes Geta Yemarew Keri Zemedochachewenem Bertatun Yestachew.
