  1. May all my dear sisters and brothers rest in peace and God give comfort and strength to your loved ones. My mind was everywhere as I was reading the names of this beautiful sisters of ours who just perished in seconds. All of them went abroad to work in sub-human conditions to help their families. It is so painful to think of their loved ones waiting for them at the airport. I can’t even imagine how devastated they are when they heard about this trajic event. It is a very, very sad day for all of us beyond comprehension.

  2. After passing challenging life and untold mistreatment by their employers, with out meeting their loved ones …they disappeared on the sea…they sacrified their life for the sake of their family. It is really heart breaking. No words can’t express it.

My heartful condolence to thier family

  3. May There soul rest in peace to all of them, regardless of their nationalities. That applies to those who perished from Ethiopia and the world over.

    God Save Ethiopia Amen!

  4. May God rest their souls in peace, its tragic to go out of your country hoping to make a better living and try to make a difference in a family and just perish, just like that…..I can imagine how this can affect their families….this is definitely outrageous world, if hell really exists, its is the one we are living in.

  5. In over fifty years of Ethiopian Airlines operations, this is the second crash. so sad to hear. My deepest condolences to the families. I pray to Allah for the passengers’ soul to rest in peace for eternity. May Allah also give the strength to bear this irreparable loss and bless the families with peace..Amen

  6. i am so sad for my sister, i was ther loing time a go now thx god i am not there any more but i still think about my sister who work there. god plz think about ethiopia ppls. reste and pice

  7. My condolence to the family, relations and friends of the people that lost their life in the air crash. May the good Lord accept their souls in Jesus Name. Amen.

  8. May the almighty God rest the soul of those who passed in the crash in peace. They suffered from being in Beirut and when they the sun is about to rise, they went to the grave. How sad. From suffer to Death. They broke our heart. I cried a lot as it would help anyone of them, or bring back any one from the sea.
Note: I am realy sorry for the 1st writer who tried to distiguish people by saying :Is there any tigre in the accident? Do you have mind my brother? R U normal? Pls lets use our mind.

  9. Rest in peace to all, in Flight 409.
Our brave, capable, and well trained pilots and crew would have done all they can to prevent this disaster. It was beyond their control. For the Lebanese authorities to accuse the crew for negligence is inappropriate and premature.
May God grant eternal life to the girls (Ethiopians, regardless of the tribe they are born into) who suffered and mistreated in the hands of unfair Lebanese masters.

  10. My condolences for all families and relatives of all Ethiopian passengers and crew members who lost their lives in this horrible crash. And for the deceased, may their soul rest in a heavenly peace. The Lebanese government is trying to cover its own mistake by blaming the pilot. The plane shouldn’t be allowed to fly in that kind of weather in the first place. And last but not least please for once stop to use this forum to promote your own stupid/racist political agenda.

  11. May the souls of all crew members and passengers rest in peace and may God Almighty stand by their greiving families.

@Tigist — The Lebanese Government are not trying to cover any mistake by blaming the pilot as the tower has the right to give clearance to any plane for take off, especially when the storm is more than three kilometers away. The pilot has the right not to take off once he checks his on board storm radars and verify that it is not safe for flying. He afterall has the final say in if he flies or not. Just a note to set the records straight my friend.
