This is what we were expecting , no more confusion . The CUD coucil already dismissed the legacy of both KIL and the so called KIC. So, the delegate should not be expected to talk to the illegal KIC.It is also Ato Hailu’s legal and moral obligation to respect the council’s decision . He cannot waiver on this matter.

20 month ago the EPRDF regime jailed Kinijit leaders and unleashed unprecedented campaigns against Kinijit. They vowed to destroy Kinijit once and for all. They miserably failed for Kinijit dwells within the heart of the people and is the symbol of the struggle Ethiopians are doing for the Unity of their country and their democratic right.
Now Attacks on Kinijit are coming from a different corner. This attack on kinijit is coming from those ferocious and brutal groups of people, who embezzled the people’s money, undermined the Kinijit struggle in the Diaspora, demoralized Ethiopians and crippled the momentum. Tens of thousands came out to support Kinijit en mass. Many returned back to their closet being demoralized by the actions and uncivilized politics of these people.
These individuals are behaving in this evil acts in the name of “HAILU SHAWEL”. What has Ato Hailu Shawel done about it? That will be the main focus and concern of this e-mail.

They brought the past of Ato Andargachew where he used to be a deputy mayor of Addis Ababa. They brought the old book he wrote on “amhara nationalism”. What they are not telling you is that since then Ato Andargachew has written many books, changed some of his old views, contributed more than half a million birr to Kinijit, was jailed and beaten up for supporting Kinijit, is one of the 60 council member of Kinijit, organized chapters mainly outside North America, represented Kinijit in various media and above all came up with the design of Kinijit structure.
Again these individuals are mobilized to do the same thing on our elected mayor of Addis Ababa, Dr Berhanu Nega. They are sending to their supporters a picture that Dr Berhanu took with Tamrat Layne and Meles Zenawi back in 1991. They are not telling you what the meeting was all about. They are bringing old articles from ER that contained views highly critical against Dr Berhanu. (That the ER editor himself apologized in private for that)
