Boston Ethiopians welcome Kinijit leaders

11:15 AM EST
Kinijit leaders were warmly received by Ethiopians in Boston as they arrived at Boston Logan Airport. The excitement by their supporters as they greeted them is the same as it was seen in Washington DC when they arrived two weeks ago. They leaders are now heading to the limousines awaiting them in the VIP area of the airport…

  1. I am always amazed and encouraged by the Boston residence political struggle. You guys are the best…. Please guys tell these leaders that we don’t want to see any kind of division between them, they should lead us without division and personal conflict. We love them and respect them all…

    Long live Ethiopia.

  2. Kinjit party has won the heart and mind of the nation.
The party leaders must stand together like a person.
I do not want to see or to hear any division.
I see in the eyes of my mind a group of out laws trying
to split the top leaders. It is better to solve the problem
    soon rather than later.Thanks Elias.

  3. Hello,

I heard there were 500 people at the fund-raising event in Boston. The amount of money raised is too low. Raising $40, 000 is not a success.

If Kinijit is going to raise the money it needs, they should at least raise 100, 000 in every event. Something has to be improved. First, they should have a minimum of 1000 people in every event. If it is $40 entracne fee, then it will be $40,000. On the average if each person pays $100, then this will be $100,000. And the total will be $140,000. This should be the minimim plan that organizers should go for and they should mention this to the participants at the beginning of the fund-raising event.

    Thanks
    Kebede

  4. to all kinijit supporters , we should not repeat our past mistakes ,we have to analyze critically, discuss and comment on each and every step of our leaders ,i personally feel guilty for what happened.i was one of the supporters who strongly condemened the critiques vs lidetu in spite of his distructing measures fearing the split of kinijt. Rather we chanted “lidetu Mandella” on the streets of addis thinking that he will give priority to peoples inquiries WHAT HAPPENED WAS THE REVERSE. Today ,we must speak out to Ato hailu that he is choosing the wrong way no more patience for ou r leaders WE SHOULD TELL HIM THAT HE IS ON THE WRONG WAY;so that we are not gonna repeat lidetu’s mistake

  5. Response to Ato Kebede (commnet nr 4):

People are supposed to give according to their capacity. You cannot impose on someone to pay a higher amount than he/she can afford. You cannot also fix the number of people that should attend the meeting. That is absurd. People come to the meeting because they like to come and they ARE ABLE to come.

I think if Boston raised $40,000 that is definitely a SUCCESS!!!!!!!

Thank you BOSTON (I love the plackards for each delegate member)

    Kinijit belongs to the people

  6. Thank you so much for sharing pictures from the Boston event. I do not think that in the history of our country, a time has come like the present where many of us inside and outside the strongly believe that Democracy is possible and it can happen if we all fight for it. Let us move forward and we should all remember that we can contribute in one way or another.

    Thanks again.

  7. I can only say that Boston you are the best.A year ago you chased Addisu Legesse and his Woyanne handlers on every opportunity. We have been told that the hard core tplf peasnt cadres are living in Boston area but they were even ashamed to be seen with Addisu Legesse at the time. This current event shows CUDP leaders are the future of Ethiopia. It is time for them to solve their minor differences in a democratic way and lead the people to crush the fascist regime of Addis Ababa.I have no doubt that they will reach the 1000000 target easily.Woyanne is dying internally, it is rejected by all Ethiopians except mindless tplf tigreans who benefited from the system.I hope they(tplfites) will be the first one to swich sides when change is coming. But we know who is who and their will be justice for those criminals.
