Dr Negasso Gidada, former Ethiopian President and currently chairman of the opposition Union for Democracy and Justice party, has been detained again today while canvassing Addis Ababa neighborhoods in preparation for Sunday’s “Millions of Voices” march.
The UDJ chairman was detained along with several of his colleagues for 6 hours and released after being warned by the ruling party goons that he received permission to hold a demonstration, not to promote the demonstration.
