The executive committee of the Coalition for Unity and Democracy Party (Kinijit) had made a second attempt today (Saturday) to convene the party’s supreme council at its temporary office, but could not hold the meeting because a quorum (31 out of 60 members) was not reached as expected. Kinijit spokesperson Dr Hailu Araya said the executive committee will convene the supreme council again tomorrow (Sunday) and establish a quorum with what ever number of members present.
