Saudi government hires lawyers in the U.S. to remove immigrant abuse videos from Youtube

DLA Piper and other law firms in the U.S. are going after videos that expose the abuse of immigrants in Saudi Arabia. Videos such as the one shown below are removed from all Youtube channels after lawyers contacted the video sharing site. Thanks to competition, it is now available on Facebook.

Ethiopians hold a demonstration on behalf of Pilot Hailemedhin Tegegn at the Swiss embassy in Washington DC – photo

Several Ethiopians in the Washington DC area held a demonstration in front of the Embassy of Switzerland this morning on behalf of Ethiopian co-pilot Hailemedhin Tegegn who is charged with hijacking an Ethiopian Airlines plane. The demonstrators asked the Swiss government not to charge Hailemedhin as a criminal.

ENTC sent draft transitional period charter to NGOs and more government officials in Ethiopia
