President Issayas warns Weyane in his independence speech

Postby amantu » 26 May 2009, 16:57

Folks,

What do you make President Issayas's speech on the occasion of 18th independence day in regards to Weyane? The president said that " what remains for Eritrea, from here on is, the simplest and one which we do not bother to accomplish is to regain our territory." What do you make of that speech? any body who can dicpher it?

Reading the English version at Shabait.com, and the way I understood it, he basically stated that since the legal thing is in Eritrea's favor, what is left is to restore the land that he said is under occupation back to Eritrea and that was a simple thing to get the Weyanes see run for their life.

I think he is right. why waste another inocent young people's LIVES to get what they will eventually get? Remember there is no good war as the Aigames would like to tell us to believe sitting comfortably in their filthy appartments behind a PC and calling "Aqaqi zeraf"! I wish it was as easy as typing away garbage. But, I am afraid, It is not that simple!

^^ how is what you are accusing the weyane's of doing any different than what you are doing. un unless you prove to me that u are deep inside badme with a laptop and wifi that would surpasss the usual 100 yard range then i have to say it might just be as simple as that.

In general the Tegaru want to make peace with Eritrea. The problem is the leaders at the top who perceive, rightly so, that they will be blamed. Again, i am not being specific, in general the Tegaru will want the head of the people who put them through an unnecessary war for Badme and then refusing to give it to its rightful owner when ALL THE LAWS ON EARTH tells them to do so. The woyanne leaders knows that as soon as they give away badme, lethargy will set in as the moral of the people will go down seeing as they are going to be losers. This will inevitabely lead to the complete collapse of Abay Tigray as it will be challenged by gonder and wollo for the lands they grabbed just like badme.

my god! it is hell that is waiting for them.

I like how this reporter puts it well your predicament.

<<Too weak to challenge Ethiopia directly Eritrea has funneled support to its enemy's enemies—including Al-Shabab and its America-hating foreign fighters. Eritrea also recently instigated a border conflict with Djibouti, home to an important U.S. military base>>.

Too weak to challenge Ethiopia directly, Eritrea has funneled support to its enemy's enemies—including Al-Shabab and its America-hating foreign fighters. Eritrea also recently instigated a border conflict with Djibouti, home to an important U.S. military base.
