Re: President Issayas warns Weyane in his independence speech

Call it what you like but the fact of the matter remains that 1 Eritrean life is worth what you cant even fathom on a good day. Why go out there to risk one life for a land that is by LAW ours to start with. its bad enopugh we lost thousands for something that you guys went out of your way to prove was yours...in addition of trying to claim the whole of Eritrea, before you got checked, HARD! Why in anyone's right mind would we make an invasion. So that we can give weyane ammo to rile Ethiopians up just like it did before?

I dont get your understanding of striking war with weyane from the point of view of an Eritrean?

Bashu,

Eritreans are too smart for your little head. Eritreans were not too weak when they decimated hailesilasie and mengistu for good. They were just clever enough to let TPLF do its share in the struggle. Now, the Eritreans are employing the same tactic, that is giving all Ethiopian freedom fighters an opportunity to do their share in decimating the tag rag army of TPLF. Nothing more nothing less.

I like how this reporter puts it well your predicament.

What do you make President Issayas's speech on the occasion of 18th independence day in regards to Weyane? The president said that " what remains for Eritrea, from here on is, the simplest and one which we do not bother to accomplish is to regain our territory." What do you make of that speech? any body who can dicpher it?

Well....the reporter isn't only feeding your empty belly but also your ego, my friend. Don't expect him to openly display his disdain to you for he needs you to do his dirty job. Obviously, being on your knees for your survival isn't humiliating enough for you. .. Of course, the same reporter who is feeding you with his surplus grain is telling you at the same time your place in the World Order is directly linked to your arrested cognitive development. I wish you proved him wrong....

Eritrea is increasingly looking like the african version of north korea. With all the military parade, the people worshiping their eternal leader. I wounder if eritreans will carry out the choreographed mourning when isayas dies just like the north koreans did when kim jong il died.
One thing is for sure though, there will be 80 million people celebrating like there is no tomorow if wedi Zenawi dies in ethiopia.
