Wadiya is an idealist country and the movie start with a map of Eritrea. Why the Eris are hesitant to comment on this?

I know the dictator movie is about Ghadafi but why they choose show Eris map in the movie?

I saw the movie, and you are correct it seems the country depicted as Wadiya seems to be Eritrea.

The movie starts with a map and the Republic of Wadiya is the current Eritrea. Is this just by luck?
I doubt it because Ato Isaias has been voted the number one dictator in the world after the death of Kim Il Jung of North Korea.
