Jennifer Lopez wants to adopt twin babies from Ethiopia

American Idol judge, jennifer Lopez, already has four-year-old twins Max and Emme with estranged husband Marc Anthony, but after working with siblings who had been adopted from Ethiopia after their mother died on new movie What to Expect When You're Expecting, Jennifer is considering the 'selfless act'.

She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It's funny because before the movie I never really thought about adoption, I just always wanted to have my own baby and I was so focused on that and it took me a while to have my own."

"But after the film and during the making of the film when I held those two little Ethiopian twins I fell in love instantly and I can see how somebody can do this, how it is so easy to embrace a child who has nothing.

"It's a beautiful, selfless act of love and it's something that you go, 'OK, I understand these feelings, I get this. I almost took those babies home. I fell in love with those babies."

However, right now Jennifer - who is dating backing dancer Casper Smart - says she is kept busy raising Max and Emme.

She explained: [Adoption] would be a blessing but I'm focused on doing it right with those two and I've really got myhands full."

Oh, lordy lordy! I'm afraid that some fashion junkie women who look up to celebrities like J-Ho for their fashion tips will see her adopting Ethiopian babies and they're going to say.....

"WOW! that's like totally cool! I want to buy me an Ethiopian baby too. No strike that! I want to buy TWINS!"

Little do the junkies know that real, living, breathing human beings are involved in their baby-shopping spree to fulfill their fashion fantasies. Some will even change their minds later when they discover that they can't afford to hire full-time nannies like the image savvy celebrities do to raise the adopted babies they occasionally use for photo-op moments to enhance their public image.

How many Ethiopian babies must you sell before you realize that your Abay Tigray dream was dead on arrival ?

It is sad to see Ethiopian babies are auctioned everywhere, as if they are cattle. Surely, the Tigrian gagsters are responsible for such despicable act.

Very few adopted children are lucky enough to have safe home, otherwise most of them are abused and rejected by their adoptee parents, even some of them have disappeared without any trace, probably murdered.

I do not know how we would overcome such calamity. It seems that the Tigrian gangster are cruel creatures without any heart, otherwise they would not do such contemptible act and profit from it.

I acted in a few plays when I was younger. Once I played a *cop, which taught me nothing about being a cop. I did not tell the world I was “open to” becoming a cop after closing night and expect everyone to pat my head for it.

And I’m not sure I believe any woman in Hollywood in the 21st century had “never thought about” adoption. Good gracious, Woman, have you had your head in a barrel?

Adoption doesn’t feel simple to me. It doesn’t feel like a cheap way to prove your new magical ability to love black people, either. It feels complicated and confusing.
