Let history be our guide

Postby Hillal » 10 May 2012, 18:05

It's being said that history repeats itself, first as a tragedy, second as a farce. Those who don't study from their history are bound to repeat it again. PIA once said that truth hurts and our history should be told truthfully, but, in a manner that doesn't create undo stress and tension to our people.

The creation of Shaebia was not an accident of history but as a negation of the politics of reaction and regression. For those who don't know the Eritrean struggle for liberation close and personal, it might be hard to fathom that the first 15 years were spent in a quagmire. Eritreans had to fight Eritreans until the forces of reaction were defeated.

This dark period of the Eritrean history was compared by the Lion of Nacfa to a period when they were forced to walk on top of the cutting edge of a blade - walking on top of it or falling away from it were never plausible alternatives. The young revolutionaries had to pay sacrifices for their principles. Moving forward by any means necessary and not abandoning or changing their correct principles was the only right course of action for them to take at that time.

The Eritrean experience is a portrait of the human spirit's ability to move mountains. We had to fight against all odds and overcame insurmountable challenges. Steel is tested in fire and so is the human character. The Eritrean revolution is like a speeding train. Those who love Eritrea and are made of the right stuff are always on board making history on a daily basis.

In every revolutionary struggle, it's quite common to find some counter revolutionaries. The President said that those who don't have the self-confidence necessary to stand on their own feet or lack the courage to defend Eritrea in times of its need are always looking for some some sub-national, diversionary and other trivial issues to justify their cause or rather sorry existence.

Eritreans are marching in unison to the same national tune. The national character, bond and unity created are the stuffs necessary for building the nation of our dreams and worthy of our Martyrs' sacrifices. History had shown us time and again that the forces of reaction are no match to the heroism, courage, resilience, determination and unity of the Eritrean people.

The question of political leadership is the most fundamental question in a revolution. The Eritrean leadership is the historical product of our revolutionary struggle. The leadership is tested in fire as no other leadership in history. The wisdom, experience, sophistication, guts and nerves of steel of the Eritrean leadership are second to none. Eritrea, the Eritrean people and Shaebia are one and the same. They are one in three, and three in one. And, Amen to that.

Sometimes, when I see facts scripted I come to recognize them as they are without having to question the content and inner messages of the statements. This is one of those statements, Hillal has it truly crafted in a way I would agree and appreciate.

as our wise fathers and grandfathers say " ne lebam amitelu, ne halay derguhalu" emo higdefawian kindirguhalkum lol
first, pls stop mentioning shaebia; shaebia was dismembered by baba belae seb isaias multiple times. it started in 1994 in nakfa and it continued all the way to sep 18. 2001-2012. you're hgdef mendef, are you shamed hgdefe? second, did you dare write "the eritrean people and shaebia are one and same" lol eway mergem, did you mean to write the eritrean people and shaebia were one in the same but ever since baba belae seb isaias dismembered the peoples front and replaced it with his own personal party called hgdef the proud of people of eritrea rejected gujile shefatu. i ask again are you shamed of hgdef mendef?. third, you also wrote "The Eritrean leadership is the historical product of our revolutionary struggle", anta fetari ezom halayat beka kurub hifret way hilna zeyblom. the historical leaders of eplf rejected tyranny and now they reside in era ero, pls tell us where yemane monkey, hagos kisha and other shefatu were in the struggle? pls stop saying eritrean leadership, who elected them? lol fourth, "Eritreans are marching in unison to the same national tune" which eritreans are you talking about? does yr eritrea include kunama, afar, saho, tigre etc etc. eway ezom hasewti. finally, the only counter revolutionary in the eritrean struggle was non other than isaias afcherki; he is going directly against the wishes of our martyers and the people as we speak. those brave eritrean who challenged him were infact authentic eritreans by blood and deed , while he is zerie kirdad who joined the struggle for personal gain. pls stop yr b.s hooker

The President said last week that his ailment is in the mind of the detractors and enemies of Eritrea. He is right on the money. Only and only a sick mind has the audacity to spend 24/7 in bad mouthing the LION OF NACFA.

Akele- before you are sent to a psychiatric hospital, my advice to you is that, you don't have the intellectual or moral standing to speak of the President's persona. It has been tried to no avail for 40 and plus years.

It seems your worthless life is seeking some kind of redemption by throwing some mud at a messiah who is respected and loved by his people. If you are coming here like an addict for your daily psychiatric fix, you are mistaken and have chosen a wrong target.

To me you are one of the victims of the Barba Syndrome. Claiming to be an Eritrean is not a panacea either.

LOL

Look at the picture this ediot is attaching. Lol

For those who don't understand Tigrigna, the text in the picture roughly translated says "they forgot that you are the eyes of all". that picture was photoshoped by Isaias supporter to show his love for Isaias when the false rumor of the death of PIA were spreading. The idiot Akele can't even understand the mining of the picture and he is posting it again and again.

Semira, you will be held accountable for the fast deteriorating mental helth of Akele Adwa.

P.S Here it the picture Akele was posting before taking his medicine.
