The Holy Synod of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church will meet in Washington DC from May 9 – 12, 2012. Following the meeting, the Church leaders will hold a press conference with the media to make a special call to the people of Ethiopia.

Just to clarify, it is not the illegal papa gebremedihin that sits in addis who is conducting the press release, it is the TRUE holy synod that resides in the USA set to brief the situation in Ethiopia.. with particular focus on the looting of EOC monasteries, sacred places and resources. The waldeba monastery will be on top of the discussion, as well as the recent attempt by the TPLF kuncho calling EOC followers different names.

Did this holy sinod of yours traveled to Ethiopia and saw things first hands or it got its news from G7 and Isat

Whom are they going to address? The diaspora? I thought they are already addressed them. Then what are they going to do? I mean what action your diaspora group will take more than refusing to travel to Ethiopia to see things first hands.
