Who you should blame for the failure of EPPF

Postby siren66 » 28 Mar 2012, 22:53

Many of the Dergue Remnants who left Ethiopia alive, left it between 1986 and 1989. These people have no idea the world has changed and they do not understand they are a nobody now. Many of these remnants still think they are living in the 1980s where they can send hundreds of thousands of men to their death while they sip on black level and eat raw meat.

This is where you should look for the tragedy of EPPF. These delusional remnants are THE VERY CAUSE of EPPF's failure. Not Eritrea. Eritrea gave shelter, food and space for EPPF. More than anything the EPLF or even the lowly TPLF got from any other entity. You can't blame Eritrea for anything.

EPPF has not failed, it is in transition. There are several warriors waiting on the wing to take up position and make sure things are going to go well. Its a matter of very few weeks before they are active again.

EPPF was on its way to becoming a powerful organization under Col. Tadesse's leadership. Just as it started to hit Woyanne, Col. Fitsum intervened and kicked out Tadesse and many of the other elected leaders, giving the leadership to some one who cannot even read and write. EPPF would have been a powerful resistance group and a great ally of the Eritrean government. Sadly, it was dismantled into 4 ethnic groups by Col. Fistum. Since then he brutally stopped any effort to revive the organization, often arresting, torturing and executing those who spoke out against him. When Ethiopians kick out Woyanne, Col. Fistum must face justice along with Meles, Bereket and others for committing atrocities against Ethiopian patriots. If the Eritrean government wants a genuine relationship with Ethiopians, it must remove the corrupt colonel and release our colleagues who are unjustly jailed. I can guarantee you that if the Eritrean government doesn't take action soon, the attitude of most Ethiopians toward it will revert to pre-2000. That would be really unfortunate because the GoE had a good opportunity to establish a strong relation with patriotic Ethiopians that could benefit both.

With Dergue like attitude and thought of process, I am afraid Elias will be life long "opposition" long after Wayane is gone for good:-) His attitude I know it all, blaming everyone but himself is despicable to say the least? Now he seems entering into new territory and is tempting to blackmail Eritrean government? He overestimate himself a bit and never seem to asses the PR war he has been wagging against EPPF under pen names for quite sometime now? Time to look yourself on the mirror, because all you have been doing is, directly and indirectly, helping and prolonging Wayane's rule a bit. Time to reasses your actions and attitude for a change, brother Elias?

Meron,

Next time you might blame me for helping Woyanne come to power.

I would prefer to be a life long opposition instead of staying silent when atrocities are being committed against fellow Ethiopians any where. Injustice is the same every where.

What I am asking is very simple: Do not arrest our comrades for no reason and no explanation. Release them. Is that too much to ask? I'm fighting for my freedom and the freedom of fellow Ethiopians? When you violate the freedom of my Ethiopian compatriots, how are you better for me than Woyanne? By the way, in case you don't know, I am known for speaking my mind. I never use pen names.

Let me say it again: Release my comrades. I want nothing else.

Shabo foot soldier,
 what part don't you understand? Tell your Pfl to kick out Col. Fistum out of his lovely office and let another proud Eriteran replace him. Is that too much ask?

Elias, I do not mean to interject my self into this conversation but I would comment that if you believe you can speak your mind, please show your compatriots a love. Put together a good article in the front page of Ethiopian review and let Ethiopians know the truth. You know shabia is not doing well ..shabia is torching these two gentlemen and you give a comment in a thread which many would not read. Is this the max you can do for them? I do not understand what keeps you back but if it was ethiopians that messed up you could have reacted soon.. trust me shabia will not be the same to you any more..they are threatened you several times and you ask them to release your comrade...brother, if you know these individuals who have their hands in the arrest , they should be taken accountable..if they live in the US we should have them face justice... Simply look Meron response he is trying to shut you up. Meron aka Amantu aka symbolman...we know you are just one individual.
