ETHIOPIA: Political and Governance Crisis and Lost Opportunity

Postby Yakume » 28 Jul 2012, 06:31

Ethiopians lost any hope with their leadership including Minilik, Meles, Haile Selassie, Mengistu Haile Mariam and Haile-Mariam Desalegne. The commong things among these leaders are they come to the power throu clan militia and by force, absence of good governance and leadership skills, conflicts and wars with others, and also human rights abuses and genocides in the Oromiya, Gambella and Ogaden regions.

These leaders from Tigray and Amhara were model for the bad leaders in Africa. They failed to understand the Ethiopia contexts and establish good governance and elected system, political forum and dialogue among the different ethnic groups in Ethiopia. These regimes and leaders educated the Ethiopians in the wrong way; “If you cannot beat them join them", which is against the humanity. For every problem there is a solution. Therefore, can the people of Ethiopia manage their internal issues, stop ongoing human rights abuses and genocides in the Ogaden and Gambella regions, and make or contribute to the peace and development efforts in their country and the Horn of Africa?

True.

These regimes and leaders educated the Ethiopians in the wrong way; “If you cannot beat them join them", which is against the humanity.

Thanks the Guest1. The past and current regimes, specially the Woyane government, who forced many people to believe this approach “If you cannot beat them join them"

Guest1, thanks for understand this point. However, the Woyane frogs from Amara and Tigray (like Minilik aka Belaynesh) cannot understand the current situation of Ethiopia. The only thing they are perfect is “abet and zeraf”, and also few words from Derg and TPLF regimes.
