Pledge means a solemn promise which should be kept no matter what the prize is, however, when those word comes from western officials, you dont even see a fraction of that promise

During the last G8 meeting in the last 6 years; to give an impression that they have a indeed a soft heart, they invite lapdog leaders from African, under much fanfare and media publicity, huge promise such as to forgive African countries debt or the interest of the borrowed capital, to Fund a project to eradicate malaria and aids is announced, but once the summit is over...there is nothing for the lapdogs to show to their subject but the western leaders scores. Two birds with one bullet. They give the impression to their constituency to feel good about them and they country that they are helping other human beings in need not to mention, they are not chauvinistic, greedy son of bitches...and the average African in particular people with low IQ beat the drums that they have received something from the west and they must be their darling.....I mean how many times have we heard Yebandbashti beating his chest while announcing western pledges to this forum and yell to Eritreans to eat their hearts... However, it is not Ethiopia or the sons of the [deleted] tribe, i want to raise here but Afghanistan.

The Poor Central Asian country has been promised billions of dollars during the last 11 years, capital which never left western pockets and today, despite past promises, 16 billion US dollars are promised...If i was the leader of the country, i would have told the western officials, please cut the crap with the new pledges and please release the fund which you promised us in the past...but...as we say in our language, the beggar dont have a choice.
