Meles has got both in Ethiopia:
1) power, no difference if he maintain it by being the condom of Mr Blair and Mr. Bush.
2) resources from Oromia and other areas in Ethiopian empire are under his looting machinary.

But, you should know there is the right way and the wrong way of doing politics.Meles is doing it the wrong way like his predecessors Mossoloni and Hitler.

since politics is a shrewd game, which uses for constructive or destractive purpose, then politicians take either way. someone who has good sprit, whose heart is bleeding for the poors will take the constructive way, which is very difficult and needs honesty and critical thinking and also takes time and effort ; however, the evil and self-centered, egomanic like Melese zenawi will take the second one, which is the easiest way; it does not require critical thinking to be a destructive. You yourself can destroy Rome with in a week, if they give you a chance. You could destroy the Menhatten or Brooklyn brige with in a day. Melese is a destructive man, and to conduct his destructive agenda it does not take him anything, except recruiting stomach-head disciples. what he exactly doind right now.
But the soceity which 96.4% of the population are unschooled, perhaps he might be considered as smart. You know in the family of blinds, if one of the family memeber has one eye they think is everything, and consider him almighthy. that is why alot of Ethiopians have taken Melese as smart, but the truth is no, anyone would be successful demon and destructive. to cause ruin or destroy the country you do not need a mind of nuclear scientist, you could be a common man and still succesful.

you are right he might have destrioyed Amhara supremacy and land. But look he is the most constructive person as far as Tigrai is concerned. His people are indulging in all sort of previllage, happiness, investiment and Tigrai development at the cost of Oromia and Amharai. Is he not the best politician for his own people???

Meles is a dictator ,don't associate him with the people of Tigray.As far as I know they have never voted to put Meles on power.They have been victimized like other people in Ethiopia by our dictators.The people of Tigray have never participated in a democratic election ,the other people got the chance to vote for their leaders in the last election now they are waiting their vote be respected.

think about the Nazis; Hitler moblized the Germans by creating imaginary enemy (Jews), he had blamed Jews for every problem German had and committed the most barbaric and savage act in human history and also invaded other neighboring countries, including France, and they looted so many property from other countries and they build their country and their military. I am sure at that time Germans used to enjoyed and had endless lexury, but their happyness did not end long. their supermacy mentality vanished when they were confronted by the Red-Army of Russia.

Now Melese and his gangs doing the same thing. They creat an imaginary enemy (amhara) and moblized tgirans and controlled the country. As you said they are looting so many properties from other part of Ethiopa and building their area, and most of the Tigrians also enjoy and have endless lexury as germans used to have; however the time would not be long, those barbarians to pay the prcie, as Germans do.
I am sure those tribal war lords will be bring to justice when their time come and will have a speedy trial and hung publicly for their crime as the Gestpo leader.
The only problem is an individual like you, being the instrument of those tribla war lords indirectly or directly, by hating other tribles.

but the turn is that first Amara-Nefxenyas will be accounted for the atrocities they did for > 100 years and then Tegaru-Weyanes will be judged for their atrocities in the last 16 years. Have you taken your Amara part of atrocity in to consideration???

Be rational, you need affirmative action(an action favoring oromo), tell me specifially what is your stand and we can engage intellegent debate. I still favor the freedom of oromo, however I am not responsible for what happend 100 years ago. If you are willing to see how other countries founded, is not different than ours. Every country around the world had hitory of war, invantion of one tribe by another etc.
It is good to analyze the past, to understand the present and forsee the future, but accusing the current Amhars for the crime committed 100 years ago, seems as seeking the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow or trying to square the circle.
I am sure you will understand my point and try to compromise.
