(PressTV) – A Somali soldier stands guard at Bakara market in Mogadishu.
Two Somali soldiers armed with automatic weapons have attacked an Ethiopian a Woyanne base in the city of Afgooye, 30 kilometers off Mogadishu.
The two soldiers opened fire and killed three Ethiopian Woyanne guards in front of the base, Press TV correspondent reports from Mogadishu.
Heavy gunfire was exchanged between the two sides which led to the death of one Somali soldier.
The Ethiopians Woyannes have launched a manhunt for the second soldier who has reportedly escaped the scene.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that following the incident, Somali government bases in Afgooye were targeted and several TFG soldiers were arrested.
After the US-backed Ethiopian Woyanne army toppled a government in Somalia in 1991, the country has become Africa’s worst humanitarian catastrophe.

February 11, 2008 (Rumbek) – Ethiopia The Woyanne regime in Ethiopia says it wants to help southern Sudan improve its infrastructure. A delegation from the Ethiopian Woyanne government was recently in southern Sudan assessing the infrastructure needs in the region.
Addressing Lakes state ministers in Rumbek on Thursday, the head of the delegation, Ethiopian Woyanne state Minister for Work and Urban Development Arkebe Oquebay, said that they want to help southern Sudan construct and rehabilitate its roads, bridges and housing. Mr. Oquebay said that the Government of Ethiopia Woyanne cannot assist GOSS with cash, but can deliver infrastructure and human resource development.
Last year, GOSS President Salva Kiir visited Ethiopia where he was promised this support.
GOSS Minister of Roads and Transport, Mr. David Deng, and officials from southern Sudan’s Ministry of Housing and Utilities were with the delegation in Rumbek.
The Ethiopian Woyanne team flew back to Addis Ababa on Friday.
