The system uses many different sources including Alexa ranking so that it is fair and balanced. The global ranking of all websites is used to check the Ethiopian news website standings and rank them.   15. nice ranking but why do you have ethiotube.net in your news website ranking?? ethiotube is not a news website.

    by the way, those websites that do not create ORIGINAL news should not be on the list. Ethiopian Review has a lot of original content, especially the amazing isaias interview. ethiomedia, ethioforum, jimmatimes, ethiopiazara have some original content too. walta/TPLF and reporter and capitalethiopia also have original staff

    But please REMOVE cyberethiopia.com and nazret.com from your list. they don’t have any original work. they just copy and paste forever. they have no diversity. anybody can make website anywhere on planet. but these 2 websites are simply linking websites or copy/paste only.

  17. 1800 readers for weyane’s waltainfo as compared to 40,000 for ER. If one plays with numbers, it can show us that ER is visited by more people in one day than that of weyane’s waltainfo gets in 22 days. And this is despite ER is blocked in Ethiopia by Weyane while ethiopians are rammed forced to view weyane’s adenquari walta for news. I doubt if Meles’ own family member & that of his inner circles amount to 1800. Weyane is relegated to the bottom of the bottomless league.

  21. CONGRA TO Ethiopian Review, you deserve it. Nazret has sold to woyanes a long time ago. Most of the visitors are woyane cadres. If it were not for serving woyanes, Nazret would be among the last. It has become a trash. The website has seen its better days.
