Perhaps neglect by the enemies of our country??
Yes yes yes abeatiful city a beatiful people
We Ethiopians need to work very very hard. This place is tiny but we talk about it as if it is one of the power houses of the world. Lets stop all the b******t and get to work.
U might add 90% of population of Gondar is living in the usa? thanks to Melaku Teferra.
The mountains in the background is breath-taking. If it was not for Meles, Gonder would have been one of tourist attraction places for its natural beauty and mountain climbers around the world. Our country, Ethiopia is not lacking natural beauty. What is lacking is a great leader.
That is my hometown. The beautiful city of Gondar where I lived most of my life. Frow Jon Tekel warkaw to Fasile castle to Angereb high school to Ediget Feleg Secondary and elementary school to Fasiledes comrehensive to Fasiledes Midddle school. One of the greatest people of the world. what more can I say? They share what they have despite their greedy leaders. Their respect for guests is second to none. The most beautiful place in the world. Where ever I go wether Saint Louis city or New York city, or Addis Ababa whether I acccumlate thousands of dollars, whether I eat the best food in the world, there is nothing like the city of Gondar and the home grown food they serve. Thank you for posting it. It’s been a 10 years since I have not seen the city. Thank you again.

Hi Guys!!
I am Gonderie and at the same time I am an Ethiopian.I think it is not to be narrow mindness but I want to say that Gonder is my root. It is in Gonder that I was born, grown up and attended my education up to 12th grade. It is about 17 years since I missed the warm feelings of its people. Now thanks to woyane Gonder is becoming smaller from year to year. You know what I mean:part of it was taken to the Tigray side and part of it was sold to a foreign country(Sudan).Ethiopians!! United we satnd we shall…..
